Bergamotto di Positano
Bergamot and mandarin meet marine freshness, green tea and orange blossom, with warmer vanilla and woods.
Bergamotto di Positano honours Charles Joseph Pagliano, who left the Amalfi coast for England and married Mary Floris. Brighter citrus and warmer sweetness evoke the Mediterranean Sea and memories of a distant summer home. The house’s own chronology places its introduction in 2015.
Bergamot and mandarin meet marine freshness resembling sea air. Green tea, orange blossom, ginger and vanilla form the heart, giving flowers and citrus a smoother texture. Amber, spice, ambrette, woods and vanilla support the finish, connecting a brighter opening with gentler warmth and depth.
Consider it for summer travel or when fresher citrus should retain softer sweetness. The Japanese house also suggests summer wear. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a yellow front label, yellow-toned liquid and a thick transparent base.
