Scusami

Scusami takes its name from the Italian request for forgiveness. The official text joins remorse and emotional wounds with the courage to seek forgiveness, using petals and changing colours to describe a movement towards change. The extrait de parfum brings that emotional weight into conversation with softer flowers.

The subject names amber, ambrette, creamy sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and fruity musks. Cassis, ylang-ylang, freesia, royal icing, lily of the valley and rose form the counter-subject. Mirabelle plum, lemon, bergamot, heliotrope and grapefruit make up the tail. Fruit and flowers meet an icing-like sweetness, supported by warmer wood and musk.

The combination suits a wish for expressive flowers and fruit with a sweeter, softer texture. The 100mL bottle has a blue-violet and black rectangular form, diagonal black cap lines and irregular metallic-coloured marks across the body. Its textured, scratched-looking surfaces echo the themes of forgiveness and memory.
