Quickie and Coffee takes an unexpected encounter in a service-station bathroom and the coffee afterwards as its subject. A brief moment of intimacy meets the warmth spreading from a cup. Amber and musk accompany flowers, a marine impression, coffee and honey in the composition.
Amber, ambrette and musk form the subject; animal notes, marine notes, jasmine and saffron the counter-subject; pine, a coffee note and honey the tail. Skin-like warmth meets a marine impression, flowers and spice, with coffee’s roasted character, sweeter honey and greener pine adding definition.
Consider it for the roasted impression of coffee alongside warmer, skin-like textures. The cylindrical 30mL bottle has a white shoulder and base, a black label and white X SÉ lettering and product name. A rough black cap and black side fastening extending to the left give it a small sculptural presence.
