La Voglia d’aMare
A summer night beside the sea and newly laid asphalt inspire coconut cream, iris, pine tar and musk.
Perfumer: Filippo Sorcinelli
La Voglia d’aMare imagines walking beside the sea after sunset, with only distant cars breaking the quiet of a summer night. The smell of after-sun cream meets tar from a newly paved road nearby. That meeting of softer skin-care memories and darker asphalt becomes the fragrance’s setting.
Oakmoss, musk and amber form the subject; coconut cream and iris rhizome the counter-subject; pine tar and tangerine the tail. Creamier sweetness and the powder-like texture of iris sit beside darker wood and tar, with brighter citrus providing another outline.
It suggests enjoying the contrast between a softer cream impression and the textures of wood and tar. The broad clear 50mL bottle has a pale iridescent label and black lettering. A large cap wrapped in black fabric covers the shoulders with a softer sculptural shape.
