Myrrha
A honeyed amber built on wild-harvested Somali myrrh, softened by creamy sandalwood and jasmine. Resinous and quiet, it suits moments when you want to stop, breathe, and let the day settle.
Perfumer: Linda Sivrican
Myrrh is a resin wild-harvested in Somalia, burned as sacred incense for centuries and remembered alongside the smoke that rises in rites and prayer. Fiele's Myrrha keeps that resin at the center but leads with its honeyed roundness rather than its smoke.
Creamy sandalwood wraps the resin's dry edge, and jasmine absolute adds a floral lift. Earthy patchouli, the fruit of apricot and tangerine, and a light prickle of pink pepper layer over tonka bean and vanilla, which lay a sweet base. Resin, wood, flower, and fruit do not compete; they melt into a single honeyed mass.
On skin, the resin's faint bitterness and the citrus brightness arrive first, then sandalwood's milky softness opens. The sweetness stays light, moving between dry wood and flower with a calm that never turns heavy.
This is a scent for quiet evenings, for reading, for the pause after a bath. It suits returning attention inward more than decorating a room. Wear a small amount at the wrist or chest and let the skin's warmth open it slowly.
