Cupressus
A resinous cypress leaf scent threaded with herbaceous clary sage and the crystalline brightness of fir, settled by warm cedarwood. An amber fougère that reads as clarity rather than decoration, steadying the mind the way a deep breath does.

Cypress has stood beside human settlements for millennia. This composition starts from its resinous leaf, then layers herbaceous clary sage and the crystalline brightness of fir needles, with cedarwood holding the base in place.
The opening is green and faintly bitter, the leaf and resin rising first. Lavender, rosemary, and petitgrain follow, drawing thin lines of herb and citrus through the scent. Oakmoss and patchouli settle underneath, while amber adds a dry warmth that keeps the composition from turning cold.
Fiele describes the fragrance as purifying, enduring, and focused. It behaves less like an accessory than a clearing of the air: an amber fougère with restrained sweetness, where wood and herb remain legible on skin.
Wear it while dressing for a working morning, or in the few minutes before a task that needs a settled head. It suits days when clarity matters more than ornament.
