BOSWELLIA
Frankincense anchors this amber-incense eau de parfum, brightened by tangerine and softened with cedarwood, sandalwood and vanilla. A contemplative scent that keeps one foot in ritual and one in the present.
Perfumer: Linda Sivrican
Boswellia takes its name from the resin itself: frankincense harvested from Boswellia serrata in Somalia, a material revered for centuries for its contemplative character. The fragrance does not try to reproduce the smoke of burning resin. Instead, it carries that stillness into a modern composition.
Tangerine and elemi open with a bright, rounded citrus that softens the dry edge of frankincense. Cedarwood and sandalwood build a quiet wooden core, while myrrh adds a faintly bitter resinous depth. Indian jasmine threads a restrained white-floral sweetness through the middle, and vanilla works less as a dessert note than as a creamy layer that holds the resins and woods together.
The result sits between amber and incense: warm, balsamic, lightly spiced, yet never heavy. On skin it settles into a calm, resinous quiet rather than announcing itself.
This is a scent for slow hours. Reading, a night walk, a morning spent thinking. It suits anyone who wants composure more than display.
Linda Sivrican composed the fragrance. Fiele's handcrafted, small-batch approach to rare plant essences shows in the scent's unhurried, grounded presence.
