Bois d'Hiver
Stronger wood meets cyclamen, heliotrope, powderier musk and smoother sandalwood.
Perfumer: Michel Girard
Bois d’Hiver was created by Michel Girard and introduced in 2014. Its creative direction surrounds a stronger woody character with the softer texture of powderier flowers and musk. A more dynamic urban outline meets a rounder centre, exploring the relationship between strength and a gentler feel.
Pink pepper and cardamom lead into cyclamen, heliotrope and white cedar. Sandalwood, patchouli, musk and cypriol form the base. More powdery floral softness meets smoother wood, while the drier depth of root-like materials supports the bouquet with a more grounded foundation.
Consider it with calmer clothing when defined wood suits a gentler powdery texture. This is a composition-based suggestion. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has clear rectangular glass, a pale liquid, a patterned gold-coloured cap and a white label bearing the fragrance name.
