Khamsin

Khamsin turns the hot wind travelling from Israel towards Egypt into an olfactory journey. Dates and orange blossom meet the smell of leather carried through Cairo’s markets. Soft sweetness and dry texture give the fragrance its atmosphere between dream and reality.

A puffed date accord provides rounded sweetness, brightened by fresh orange blossom. Dry leather adds a firmer edge, leaving a softer fruity impression between the floral and leathery aspects. These three materials are presented as contrasts within the composition.

It suits leather accompanied by sweet fruit and flowers. An outer layer on a cooler day or relaxed evening clothes can complement the combination. Start with a small amount to judge the date sweetness against the leather outline.

Sonia Constant created this eau de parfum in 2021. The selected rectangular 100mL bottle holds amber-coloured liquid beneath a square gold cap, with a thick clear glass base and restrained brand decoration.
