Sasora
Yuzu and rosewood meet kyara and agarwood in a perfume named after an incense wood.
Perfumer: Yasuyuki Shinohara
Named after a fragrant wood used in kodo, Sasora combines the sharp clarity of yuzu with rosewood, kyara and agarwood. DI SER conceived it as a perfume suited to kimono and the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese room.
The citrus brightness meets warm wood and a camphor-like freshness. Spikenard joins the base, giving the woods a green, clean aspect alongside their depth. The result expresses the house’s interest in incense through a citrus-led composition.
