Velvet+ keeps the trio of vanilla, rose and amber but pushes it darker with a dense overdose of patchouli and labdanum. Saffron opens the scent as a dark, leathery spice, giving the sweetness a firm outline from the start. Roasted almonds and rose petals form the heart, pairing toasted nuttiness with soft floral sweetness. The base sets vanilla and amber against earthy patchouli. Labdanum also contributes resinous depth to the overall composition, giving the amber theme a darker richness.
