Lilac
Bergamot and greener leaves lead to lilac, muguet, softer suede and warmer amber.
Perfumer: Laurent Le Guernec
Lilac evokes living flowers on Lilac Hill at the New York Botanical Garden. Laurent Le Guernec worked with the gardeners to capture the freshness of their brief flowering period. Fragrance-capture technology studies the scent around unpicked blooms and recreates it, translating a quieter garden memory into perfume.
Bergamot zest and a leafy-green accord create a brighter, fresher opening. Lilac and muguet form a softer cloud of flowers at the centre. Suede and amber follow, supporting the more delicate petals with gentler texture and warmth.
Consider it when softer flowers should retain greener leaves and citrus freshness. Introduced in 2023, it is an eau de toilette. The illustrated 60mL bottle has short cylindrical glass, a bright green sculpted pedestal-like cap, pale violet colour, embossed lettering and a thick clear base.
