401 Prune Velours
Syrupy plum, resins and woods evoke an evening at the Opéra Garnier, with cinnamon leaf and incense beneath the fruit.
Perfumer: Nathalie Koobus
401 Prune Velours recalls the bustle of an evening at the Opéra Garnier. Ludovic Bonneton pictured syrupy plum and varnished backstage floors. Nathalie Koobus wrapped the fruit in warmer woods and resins.
Cypress, elemi and bergamot establish a herbal, citrus and peppery outline. Soft, sweet plum meets cinnamon leaf and incense in the heart. Labdanum, vanilla and cedar connect the fruit’s glossy character to leathery resin and drier wood.
The eau de parfum is shown in square 100mL glass with a black cap. It suits a dressed-up evening when sweet fruit feels most appealing with deeper resinous and woody textures.
