Rebellious

Bergamot meets cinnamon and saffron before rose, violet and labdanum. Softer suede and musk join patchouli and sandalwood, giving this spicy woody fragrance a quieter leather character.

Sweeter cinnamon and a softer suede texture set the character of Rebellious. Introduced in 2019 and credited to Christian Provenzano, it links rose and violet to calmer woods and leather. The inspiration comes from Queen Boadicea's resistance to the Roman legions. Despite the force of that story, the fragrance places its interest in carefully balanced details and a smoother finish. Warm spice and supple leather express the rebellious theme through texture, allowing the floral element to retain a softer presence within the composition.

Bergamot, cinnamon and saffron open the fragrance, connecting a brighter citrus impression to sweeter, warmer spices. Violet brings a powdery softness to the heart, joined by rose and the resinous character of labdanum. Patchouli and sandalwood introduce more woody depth in the base. Suede and musk create smoother connections between those darker materials and the flowers. The leather impression that runs through the composition adds a more tactile, grounded quality, keeping the floral softness alongside the depth of resins and woods.

Try it with a wool jacket or a cleanly shaped coat when the outfit calls for a warmer detail. It also suits a day when sweeter flowers alone feel incomplete and softer leather or woods offer a more interesting finish. The 100mL bottle uses rounded glass around a pale golden interior. Its silver cap and circular Celtic-patterned shield give the front a more defined structure. Smooth shoulders lead into the curved body, supported by a thick glass foot that echoes the fragrance's mixture of softness and weight.
