Oud Sapphire

Oud Sapphire arrived in 2023 as a pure perfume paying homage to the many-sided character of oud. It explores the wood through powdery ambrette, spice, flowers and resin, offering softer textures around its more substantial presence. The idea draws on a material long burned as incense, while treating its depth as something that can coexist with a calmer, more rounded character.
Ambrette opens alongside black pepper and saffron. A softer, musk-like impression meets drier spice and a warmer edge. Leather, oud and osmanthus form the heart, bringing fuller flowers into contact with the stronger textures of wood and leather. Sandalwood, styrax and orris support the base, with creamier wood, resinous warmth and a smoother powdery quality shaping the surroundings of the oud.
Consider it when you want oud and leather framed by flowers and powderier textures. A quieter dinner or time set aside to enjoy a woody fragrance suits that combination. The round 100mL bottle pairs red glass with a gold-coloured cap, a narrow neck and a shield bearing Celtic patterns. A pink-coloured stone sits at the centre of the shield, while the red glass continues into the thick foot.
