Imperial Eau de Parfum
Green angelica and lavender meet flowers and softer wood, with oud, frankincense, resin and leather adding settled depth.
Perfumer: Christian Provenzano
Imperial Eau de Parfum is a 2012 composition by Christian Provenzano, exploring a sense of commanding elegance through flowers, wood and leather. Angelica lends a cooler green impression around the fuller woody opening. A sweet, liqueur-like herbal character leads towards flowers, smoke and warmer resins, giving the composition a more varied texture within its settled depth.
Angelica, lavender, birch and Brazilian rosewood open the fragrance, joining aromatic freshness to softer wood. Jasmine, geranium, freesia and Turkish rose form the heart, softening the greener angelica impression and adding floral suppleness between the wood and leather. Patchouli, sandalwood, guaiac wood, labdanum, leather, amber, olibanum, English Cypriol Oil, musk and oud provide the base. Fragrant woods and frankincense meet the warmer texture of resins, supporting the leather and smokier shading as the different parts of the composition come together.
Consider it when deeper wood and leather appeal with a softer floral presence. Cooler-weather outings or an evening spent in quieter, more considered surroundings offer space for that combination. The 100mL bottle has a dark rounded cap, slender neck and a shield engraved with Celtic patterns. A round glass body and a thick foot give the bottle a poised, substantial outline.
