Ardent

Ardent centres on cindered rose and beeswax. The brand calls it a passionate, glowing perfume, and the scent unfolds like a night rose smouldering into fullness.

At the top, Turkish rose is layered with saffron, coriander and carrot seed. The carrot seed and coriander give the rose a green, salted, iris-like shade, adding an earthy dryness from the first moments.

In the heart, rose absolute and jasmine are wrapped in the dense, honeyed texture of beeswax. Hedione brings a transparent brightness to the jasmine, setting it against the weight of the wax and giving the accord a subtle shimmer.

The base is built on amber, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin, labdanum, musk and oud. Benzoin suggests honeyed almonds, air-dried tobacco and a faint clove note, while earthy, sweet labdanum frames the rose. Dense flowers recalling a night rose meet the sweetness of beeswax and resins, shaded by wood and smoke.
