Blue Madeleine
Tea, milky florals and warm woods evoke a madeleine and the memories it can unlock.
Perfumer: Marie Salamagne
Like the madeleine dipped in tea in Proust’s novel, Blue Madeleine explores the connection between scent and memory. It evokes afternoon tea at the villa through the impressions of spices and black tea.
Bergamot and pink pepper open with cinnamon, leading to Centifolia rose, black tea and a soft milky note. Cade, Peru balsam, praline and sandalwood form the base. Woody and resinous accents temper the sweetness, giving the nostalgic idea a quieter, textured finish.
