Smoke

Smoke starts with the smell of tobacco leaf crumbling between fingers and flame meeting paper. Akro treats the small gestures around it, whether private or shared, as a fragrance subject. Dry leaves and the warmth of smoke take the place of brighter flowers and fruit.

Tobacco leaves provide the opening, birch the heart, and benzoin with tonka bean the base. The dry leaf character meets a darker, smoky impression of wood, surrounded by the rounded sweetness of resin and tonka. Warm shade remains part of the composition, giving smoke a softer surrounding texture.

It can suit an evening in cooler weather or a heavier jacket that calls for a deeper fragrance. Someone who enjoys sweet resin beside smoky wood may find it appealing.
