Crush
Roasted almond, lychee and rose evoke a macaron with praline and vanilla sweetness.
Perfumer: Olivier Cresp
Crush imagines the small indulgence of a rose macaron. Its crisp outside and melting centre become contrasting fragrance textures. Toasted warmth, juicier fruit and a soft, creamy impression meet, giving the rose a confectionery setting with more than one kind of sweetness.
Roasted almonds and lychee open the composition. The nutty character meets bright fruit before Bulgarian rose and praline form the heart. Vanilla provides the base, rounding the sweetness and connecting floral richness with the softer impression of a baked treat. The resulting idea is both a flower and a delicate confection.
Consider it for an afternoon outing in soft colours or a quiet tea break. It may appeal to someone who enjoys rose with fruit, nuts and vanilla rather than a greener floral style. Olivier Cresp created Crush in 2025 as an extrait de parfum. The illustrated 100mL bottle has a pink body and a black cylindrical cap.
