Agatho Parfum

ポルタマリーナ 100mL ボトル

Portamarina is named after Porta Marina, the gate from which Pompeii looked out to sea. According to the house, it was the threshold that let in the breeze and the first merchants arriving from the port.

The story follows a dawn wind rising from the water, slipping through alleys and workshops until it reaches the home of the perfumer Agatho. Bergamot, orange and apple open the scent: sparkling citrus released among the trees, and the fresh crunch of dew-wet apples.

Orris, sage, sea breeze and thyme make up the heart. Dry Mediterranean herbs meet an airy marine note, and orris, linked in the tale to the irises around the portico, lays a soft powdery texture over them.

Cedar and musk form the base. Clean, straight wood and a gentle musk settle the brightness of fruit and herbs giving the composition a finish that recalls a calm morning.
