The top notes are sweet orange, calamondin, neroli and myrtle. Sweet citrus and the sharper tang of calamondin are brightened by neroli's white-flower light and edged with myrtle's herbal green, an opening the brand compares to sunlit marble. In the heart, red thyme and a chinotto accord meet papyrus and jasmine: warm herbs, bitter citrus and a dry, grassy tone around the flower, which the brand ties to the soul of the Mediterranean.
The base brings oud, tonka bean, a costus accord and transparent musks. Wood depth meets tonka's sweet warmth and the soft, rooty shading of costus, while the musks keep the whole clear.
