Adone

Adone draws on the myth of Adonis, the young man loved by Aphrodite and destined to shine and fade within a single breath. The brand also recalls the legend that the rose was born from the goddess's tears, and frames the scent as the suspended moment between passion and loss.

The scent opens with cassis, grapefruit, pink pepper and rosewood. Dark, tart berry meets the bittersweet edge of citrus and a dry peppery spark, while rosewood adds a lighter woody tone.

Geranium and white lily form the heart. The green, leafy side of geranium sits beside the smooth white petals of lily, softening the brightness of the opening rather than adding weight.

The base combines ambrette seeds, Ambroxan, precious woods and white musk. Ambrette brings a warm, musk-like softness, Ambroxan a clean ambery dryness, and white musk wraps the woods in a quiet finish that the house likens to the memory of a love that never ended.
