Pure Breeze of Himalaya
Brighter citrus meets cooler flowers and a mineral mountain-air accord, surrounded by softer musk.
Perfumer: Fanny Bal
Pure Breeze of Himalaya explores the impression of clearer mountain air through cooler flowers and a more mineral setting. Fanny Bal imagines the freshness associated with the Himalayan peaks, giving the eau de cologne a brighter sense of space. Introduced in 2019, the Acqua Colonia Intense fragrance centres on Living Mountain Air, an accord developed through a technique for recreating the olfactory profile of a place.
Bergamot and mandarin open with more vivid citrus, accompanied by aromatic pink pepper. Rose and lily of the valley develop at the heart, where Living Mountain Air adds cooler ozonic transparency and a mineral impression. Cashmeran, ambroxan and musk surround the flowers in the drydown with smoother textures, connecting the fresher setting with a gentler warmth.
Try it for a walk somewhere with a little breeze or a morning when you choose clothes in cooler colours. The selected 100mL bottle has relief-patterned clear glass, a paler blue label and a matching neck strip. A gold-toned cap and light across the decorated shoulders and thicker base echo the clearer mountain-air setting.
