Smoky Tonka

Smoky Tonka imagines a chalet in the French Alps, with desserts enjoyed beside a crackling fire. Daniela Marty connects the aroma of wood-aged cognac with sweeter tonka bean and stronger spice for this eau de parfum. It launched online in 2023, followed by specialist retail distribution in 2024.

French cognac oil meets bergamot at the opening, giving the spirit-like setting a brighter expression. Brazilian tonka bean, an oak barrel accord and cinnamon develop in the heart, joining sweetness with a drier and warmer woody texture. A praline accord meets vanilla and sandalwood in the drydown, bringing a smoother confectionery character around the more smoky associations. Richer sweetness and the warmth of aged wood share the same setting.

Try it for a quieter evening after dinner or a day when you choose a warmer coat. The selected 100mL black Molanus bottle carries detailed relief decoration and a label framed and lettered in gold. Darker glass and restrained metallic reflections give the woody warmth and sweeter drydown a fitting visual expression.
