Orchid Vanilla
Dewier peach and flowers meet a richer orchid accord and creamy Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar.
Perfumer: Mark Buxton
Orchid Vanilla takes the flowers of the vanilla plant and the sweeter aroma held within its pods as the creative setting. Mark Buxton explores orchid as a flower with a gourmand expression, bringing together dewier freshness and richer sweetness. The eau de parfum launched online in 2023, followed by specialist retail distribution in 2024.
A morning dew accord meets freesia and peach in the opening. A fuller orchid accord develops at the heart with rosa centifolia and jasmine sambac. Madagascan Bourbon vanilla absolute gives the drydown a smoother, creamier character, supported by amber and musk. The composition connects brighter floral freshness with softer warmth, allowing the flowers to retain a more varied setting around the sweetness.
Try it when you choose clothes in softer fabrics or have time for a leisurely cup of tea. The selected 100mL black Molanus bottle has detailed relief decoration with a gold-framed label. Its quieter black and gold presentation gives the richer sweetness a more restrained visual setting.
