Wandervogel
An aromatic scent where mint, shiso leaf and a hint of the sea settle over a dry sand accord. It is drawn from the urge to set out for somewhere new.
Perfumer: Shyamala Maisondieu
Wandervogel is an eau de parfum from 27 87 built around a hunger for novelty and exploration. The brand describes it as a contemporary reading of journeys toward places not yet seen.
It opens with mint, shiso leaves and a marine accord. The brand specifies a rare Moroccan mint. Its cool lift meets the green, slightly peppery leaf of shiso and a breath of salty air.
In the heart, anise and fennel bring a rounded herbal quality that stays low on sweetness, and a white floral note softens the space between them. The base pairs musk with a sand accord. Its dry, fine-grained texture settles into the skin-close musk and keeps the composition light and airy.
Herbal green and a saline clarity sit at its centre, not sweetness. It suits someone who prefers a breezy, uncluttered green scent to a floral or sweet one. It is made in Barcelona.
