Hamaca
An Eau de Parfum that moves from a cool, salty marine opening through sandalwood and coconut to the soft warmth of tonka bean and vanilla.
Perfumer: Shyamala Maisondieu
27 87 built Hamaca around a simple idea: slowing the breath, letting go, and keeping only the sense of being present. It opens on a marine accord, cool and touched with salt, a clear entrance without sweetness. In the heart, sandalwood and coconut meet. The dry, earthy wood is softened by coconut that reads as if warmed by the sun. The base brings tonka bean from Venezuela and vanilla from Madagascar. The toasty sweetness of tonka lowers the scent's centre of gravity, while vanilla rounds the edges and lends a soft warmth to skin that still carries a trace of salt. Because it moves from seaside coolness toward wood and creamy sweetness, it calls the shore to mind, yet applied with a light hand it also works as a quiet warmth for everyday wear. It is an Eau de Parfum made in Barcelona.
