2018 Genetic Drift is 27 87's variation on its own fragrance Genetic Bliss. The house describes using the same patented ingredients in a different balance, giving a familiar composition a subtly altered outline. It was developed in 2018 and released in 2026 as part of the Archive Edition.
The published structure is spare: white chocolate at the top and Genetic Bliss at the base. The brand describes the result as woody, creamy and radiant, with a softness that seems to settle into the skin. The white-chocolate note gives the familiar woody foundation a gentler, sweeter frame without replacing it.
