Less Than Zero is 19-69’s collaboration inspired by Bret Easton Ellis’s novel. It evokes the polished world of a Bel Air pool and impeccably dressed young people through cooler flowers and wood. A quieter unease sits beneath that immaculate surface.
Lily of the valley and magnolia bring lighter floral character beside the cool powdery texture of orris butter. Rosewood provides smoother woody definition, while patchouli adds earthy depth and musk a softer layer. Clear flowers and dry wood form a composed balance.
Choose it with a crisp shirt or pale jacket when a quieter fragrance suits the outfit. Powder and cooler wood offer an alternative to densely sweet flowers. It can also complement a more considered daytime style.
Presented in 2026 as an eau fraîche, it comes in a clear cylindrical 95mL bottle with a black cap and cream label. A dark faceted base beneath a thick glass band completes its composed shape.
