Karine Vinchon calls Soleil & Ambre a holiday scent. It comes from days spent outdoors with her family, the sun at its highest and something gently floral carried on the air, and she condenses that memory into sunlit white flowers.
The centre is a cluster of tiare, frangipani and jasmine, flowers with a creamy, heady sweetness. Bergamot and mandarin brighten the start, and coconut gives the bouquet a soft, milky roundness.
Sandalwood, vetiver, amber and musk hold it from below. The amber of the name lives here as a warm floor for the flowers, while vetiver adds a dry, rooty line that keeps the sweetness from settling too heavily.
