Nuage de Coton
A close-to-skin musky floral that moves from the clear bitterness of juniper and absinthe through incense and iris butter to white musk and vanilla.
Perfumer: Amandine Galliano
Nuage de Coton, French for “cotton cloud”, is introduced on its official page as a skin scent. The words that accompany it tie it to rare, precious moments set aside for oneself, the kind of pause that makes ordinary days easier to savour.
It opens on juniper and absinthe: a clear, resinous bitterness edged with wormwood green, with pink berries adding a dry, peppery sparkle. Incense and myrrh follow, smoky and dry, while iris butter lays a soft, powdery smoothness across them.
White musk and vanilla carry the base. The sweetness stays low, and what remains is a hushed warmth that keeps a trace of resin as it settles into the skin.
