Amandine Galliano

Amandine Galliano is a perfumer who grew up surrounded by the precious raw materials of Grasse, France. She was immersed in natural essences from an early age, an experience that shaped the way she works with materials. At the heart of her work lie authenticity, artistry and a deep reverence for naturals.

Career

She trained at Robertet, refining her craft alongside master perfumers. She shaped her style in London, and after several years in England she returned to the Grasse area. When she came home, she says, she was captivated by a world of scents that recalled her childhood. Since her return she has also created fragrances for the Middle Eastern market, and she is strongly drawn to its richly textured fragrance palette.

Creative Style

Natural materials give her a way of working with the scents she remembers from childhood. In her work for 100BON, her fragrances begin from moments of her own and memories of home. In her Middle Eastern work, she layers oud, amber and spices into fragrances with depth and body.

Signature Works

  • *Nuage de Coton*

This 100BON fragrance is what she calls a skin scent. It reflects the rare but precious moments she takes to care for herself. It opens with clear juniper and absinthe, moves into a calm heart of incense and iris, then white musk and vanilla settle softly on the skin.

  • *Secret Garden*

This 100BON fragrance grew out of her rediscovery of Grasse jasmine after she came home. Its starting point is the image of August, when the scent of jasmine fills the perfume factories. A fruity sweetness softens its edges, yet the jasmine keeps its sensual allure.
