Bois & Poudre
Bergamot and almond lead into white flowers, woods and musk: a cocooning woody floral for the first minutes of the day.
Perfumer: Karine Vinchon Spehner
Bois & Poudre means "wood and powder." Karine Vinchon built it around the first few minutes of the morning, the stretch of quiet before the day picks up speed and pulls everything into its rush. The aim is comfort, a scent to settle into.
Bergamot opens brightly, softened almost at once by the rounded sweetness of almond. Jasmine sambac and orange blossom follow at the heart, giving the composition a gentle white-floral fullness.
The base gathers cedar, sandalwood, patchouli and musk. Dry wood meets soft musk, and the finish takes on the hushed, powder-soft texture the name promises.
