Perfumer and Brand Background

Olivier Pescheux composed Fleur de Peau. Born in Paris in 1966, he developed experience in France and Thailand before joining Givaudan in 1998 and later becoming a master perfumer. Givaudan names Fleur de Peau among his notable works. He died in 2023 at the age of 57.

Diptyque began in 1961 at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. Its three founders came from interior design, painting, and theatre, and the first shop sold fabrics, furniture, and objects gathered through travel rather than fragrance alone.
