About ZEGNA

ZEGNA is an Italian clothing and textile house rooted in Trivero, northern Italy. The craftsmanship and memories associated with its founder, Ermenegildo Zegna, extend into fragrance. Touch, material, the atmosphere of a workplace and the intimacy of time spent with family give the perfumes a setting within the house’s wider creative world.

History

The story began in the northern Italian Alps in 1910. Work centered on the wool mill became a legacy passed between generations. In 2026, the house introduced Memorie, a collection presenting six scenes and places associated with its founder as chapters in scent. A study, a factory, a road and a forest become ways to explore the relationship between personal memory and a family’s continuing history.

Philosophy and Signature Style

Fragrance connects memory, nature and human craft through concrete sensory impressions. Ink, soft wool, mountain air, earth after rain, pine trees and evenings beside a fire provide distinct starting points. The 100mL bottles can be replenished with 150mL refills. Their wooden magnetic caps carry the family crest, while each bottle’s gradient color refers to the particular setting that inspired its composition.

Iconic Fragrances

  • *Il Calamaio* — Ink, Turkish rose and oud interpret the quiet concentration of the founder’s study.
  • *Il Lanificio* — Vanilla, suede and sandalwood evoke the transformation of wool into fabric.
  • *La Panoramica* — Pine needles, lavender and vetiver suggest the scenic road through Oasi Zegna.
