About Obvious Parfums
Obvious Parfums is a French fragrance house that gives materials clear names and restrained forms. Its collection centres on genderless eau de parfum and a direct, contemporary idea of luxury.
History
David Frossard founded the house and launched its collection in 2020. Parisian sensibility and memories of the Corsican landscape meet in fragrances and packaging stripped of unnecessary ornament.
Philosophy & Signature Style
Simplicity, elegance, and restraint guide the collection. Material and environmental choices are part of that approach, including organic wheat-derived alcohol. Names identify a central ingredient or scene in plain terms, while the compositions gain depth through contrast rather than excess.
Representative Fragrances
Un Musc polishes the contours of musk, Un Bois explores the temperature of wood, and Milk & Matcha gives matcha-latte sweetness a modern structure. Across these works, immediate names open onto fragrances with more complexity than their titles first suggest.
