About Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian fashion house that joins Sicilian family life, religion, celebration, sea, and food with the discipline of Milanese tailoring. Fragrance does not reduce the Mediterranean to one postcard; light, fruit, flowers, the body, and the density of night become different scenes.

History

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented their first Milan collection in 1985. The house entered fragrance in 1992 and expanded production and distribution for many years through licensing partners. After a global beauty agreement with Shiseido beginning in 2016, the founders established Dolce&Gabbana Beauty in 2022 and progressively brought research, product direction, and communication under direct management.

Philosophy & Signature Style

Restraint is not treated as the only form of elegance. Black lace, gold, ripe fruit, flowers, and ceramic patterns can appear with theatrical force because tailoring gives them discipline. Fragrance similarly sets bright citrus and water against sensual florals, spice, and woods, moving between the openness of day and the drama of evening. Bringing beauty in-house was therefore more than a corporate change: it allowed clothing, image, stores, cosmetics, and scent to be directed as one creative world. The resulting language is generous and physical, but its effect depends on controlled construction rather than ornament alone.

Iconic Fragrances
