Velvet Honey Santal

Scent Development and Character
A radiant honey–amber wood fragrance that opens with a bright gush of golden Sicilian honey wrapped around creamy sandalwood, quickly deepening into a balsamic heart where resinous styrax and gurjum balsam thicken the nectarous sweetness. As it settles, glowing amber and warm benzoin add a gently smoky, resinous sheen, turning the honey from luminous and almost translucent to dense and velvety, with the sandalwood’s smooth woodiness keeping the composition polished rather than sticky or gourmand-heavy.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Wear Velvet Honey Santal when you want a refined honey fragrance that feels polished rather than dessert-like: the blend of luminous honey, creamy sandalwood and glowing amber works especially well in cool to cold weather and in evening or special-occasion settings, yet its smooth texture can also suit daytime wear in moderated sprays. On skin it moves from bright, almost shimmering honey to a denser, balsamic amber-wood aura over several hours, making it a good choice for those who enjoy resinous, slightly smoky sweetness that stays close to a sophisticated, niche-style profile. Best suited to autumn and winter, when its warm honey, sandalwood and amber feel most comfortable and enveloping; it can also work in early spring on cooler days, while generally being too rich for hot, humid summer conditions except in very light application or evening use. Sillage is Projection is estimated as moderate with a noticeable but not overpowering aura: the opening creates a distinct honey–sandalwood cloud around the wearer, then gradually settles into a closer, more intimate amber-resin trail after a few hours. Longevity is Moderate to long-lasting; on most skins the Eau de Parfum should give a steady honey–amber trail for around 7–9 hours, with the most radiant phase in the first 3–4 hours before softening into a resinous, skin-close glow. These are editorial estimates derived from the official composition and concentration and will vary with skin and climate.
