Creamy vanilla arrives slowly, like being pulled into a soft embrace. A faint bitterness of rum and a gentle patchouli edge keep the sweetness from turning simple. This is not a loud perfume; it opens close to the skin and loosens gradually.
Citrus and frangipani sit at the top. The citrus lightens the opening, while frangipani's rounded petals bridge toward the vanilla. In the middle, Mugane, labdanum and Figolide carry the composition. Labdanum's resinous shadow gives the vanilla depth and a dry border.
The base is patchouli, musk, vanilla and tonka bean. Vanilla musk lingers softly, evoking two longtime lovers walking quietly side by side. Tonka bean's almond-like warmth holds the sweetness in place to the end.
