Nightscape

Nightscape takes the city after dark as its imagined setting. Bergamot and a green accord open with a bright, leafy edge; jasmine and geranium bring a lighter floral line against cedarwood. In the base, patchouli, musk, amber and tonka bean sit beside soft leather notes, giving the composition a warmer, more tactile register. The floral brightness and the quiet texture of leather hold their place within the same scent. Ulrich Lang New York also invited an artist to interpret the fragrance through photography, resulting in an image of New York at night. Citrus, flowers, wood and leather offer different textures through which to imagine the depth of that nighttime view.
