Madagascar Extrême

Madagascar Extrême grew from the flowers that moved Mayumi Nakada during her time in Madagascar. Creamy ylang-ylang and tuberose are wrapped in the rounded sweetness of ripe banana. The image of dancing petals is expressed through the soft meeting of flowers and fruit, giving the composition a rich but supple character.

Orange flower and raspberry open the perfume. Floral brightness and the sweet-tart character of red fruit lead into a heart of Madagascan ylang-ylang, ripe banana and tuberose. The banana gives roundness to the richer flowers, allowing tropical fruit and floral sweetness to become closely interwoven. Their textures support each other rather than sitting in separate parts of the fragrance.

Vanilla and musk provide a soft finish around the floral-fruity heart. Creaminess remains central, carrying the character of the flowers and banana together. The composition recalls Madagascar's abundant nature through the brightness of flowers and the mellow sweetness of fruit.
