Twilight
Blood orange and pepper move through flowers and soft woods into ambergris, musk and resin, tracing dusk into night.
Perfumer: Marianne Nawrocki Sabatier
Twilight follows the brief interval when afternoon sunlight gives way to night. SW19 associates the red sunset with blood orange and the arrival of moonlight with ambergris and musk. Marianne Nawrocki Sabatier created this 2024 eau de parfum around the contrast between bright fruit and a quieter finish.
Blood orange gives the opening sweet-tart light, sharpened by black pepper. Apricot blossom and freesia add soft flowers before cedarwood, patchouli and cashmere take the heart toward dry wood and a smooth texture. Ambergris, musk and cistus form a rounded base with resinous depth. The composition lets citrus brightness meet the calmer character of woods and musk.
The clear rectangular 50mL bottle carries deep blue-purple lettering beneath a black cylindrical cap. It is a natural choice for a day that extends into evening, or for someone who enjoys fresh citrus with a more grounded woody finish.
