SESAME VANILLA
SESAME VANILLA belongs to Les Eaux de Parfums SHOLAYERED, a collection built from memories of Japan and composed in France. This one holds a late afternoon in Kamakura, when the streets thin out and the smell of warm pastries drifts from small shops along the path. The sun slips behind the temples while roasted black sesame, soft vanilla and the heat of fresh-baked dough hang in the air.

The opening is savory before it turns sweet. Roasted black sesame leads, lifted by a thin edge of lemon and bergamot so the entrance stays light. Jasmine, sweet honey and orchid then gather in the heart, tilting the composition toward flowers and nectar.
Vanilla pod, a kinako accord and sandalwood form the base. The warmth recalls pastry pulled from an oven, but dry wood keeps it from turning heavy, and the sweetness settles rather than shouts.
Black sesame and kinako offer different expressions of toasted sweetness. Their pastry associations meet flowers and wood, suggesting an evening walk or a pause on a cooler day.
