The non-alcohol project began with an email from a customer hoping for an alcohol-free perfume. SHOLAYERED sought a satisfying fragrance while removing the alcohol normally used to dissolve aromatic materials. Developing the formula took around five hundred days and repeated trials.
The aim extended beyond changing the format to preserving the pleasure of wearing fragrance. Jasmine Freesia can be considered on its own or within the house’s broader invitation to explore personal scent combinations.
A gold pump and cap were introduced for this line. They express the house’s desire to value continuity while embracing change, giving the development story a visible counterpart alongside the two flowers in the name.
