NOON
A fragrance inspired by afternoon light scattered through leaves. A powdery opening gives way to lilac and cashmere wood, then settles into vanilla, amber, and musk. Quiet rather than showy, it leaves a soft sense of fullness for daytime hours.
Crystal Noon is one of the new chapters added to the 1945 collection. The series steps away from the stacked-stone object that opened the line and moves toward a transparent bottle that catches ambient light. The scent's starting image is called a rhapsody of komorebi—afternoon light scattered through leaves, filling the day while leaving only faint shadows at its edge.
The opening is powdery, less dry dust than light-filled air. It settles on the skin as a soft outline rather than a definite statement.
In the middle, lilac opens and finds a smooth core in cashmere wood. The flower does not simply drift and fade; the wood gives it quiet density, so softness and substance arrive together.
Vanilla, amber, and musk close underneath. The sweetness never announces itself; it stays close to body temperature and rests there. Nothing here is loud, yet the fragrance feels complete.
A fragrance for daytime hours that call for quiet fullness. Following the lilac, soft wood and warmer sweetness offers a way to picture the balance of light and shade in its komorebi theme.
