Nuit de cellophane
A cool, translucent fruity-floral veil where Chinese osmanthus and jasmine bloom through mandarin’s soft sparkle, wrapping the skin in a luminous, cellophane-like glow that feels delicate yet quietly persistent.
Scent Development and Character
A luminous fruity-floral built around Chinese osmanthus, whose honeyed, jasmine-like facets are brightened by mandarin and folded into a gentle, transparent jasmine bouquet. The scent moves from a crisp mandarin shimmer to a gauzy, petal-soft floral heart, retaining a cool, cellophane-like clarity rather than turning dense or syrupy.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
On skin it opens with a fresh, fruity mandarin lift before settling into a soft osmanthus–jasmine accord that stays relatively close, forming an airy, silky aura rather than a bold trail. It is polished yet understated, making it suitable for day or night and for settings where a refined but non-intrusive presence is desired. Best suited to spring and autumn, when its luminous fruity-floral profile feels balanced; it can also work on mild summer evenings and temperate winter days if not overapplied. Sillage is Soft to moderate sillage, projecting as a gentle halo around the wearer rather than a large trail; most noticeable within arm’s length. Longevity is Moderate longevity for an eau de parfum: typically around 5–7 hours on skin, with the mandarin brightness fading sooner while the osmanthus–jasmine accord lingers more softly.
