Sedley
Spearmint and citrus meet lavandin and pine, with sandalwood and white musk adding softness.
Perfumer: Hamid Merati-Kashani, Olivier Cresp
Sedley brings fresher mint and citrus into contact with lavandin and a sandalwood foundation. Created by Olivier Cresp and Hamid Merati-Kashani and introduced in 2019, it places smoother wood beneath brighter aromatic herbs. That softer base gives the cooler green theme a quieter outline.
Bergamot, spearmint and orange lead into geranium, lavandin and pine at the heart. Sandalwood, ambrox and white musk form the base. Cooler mint and brighter citrus meet a conifer-like character before smoother wood gathers them together, retaining the clearer aromatic impression above a gentler foundation.
Consider it for daytime outings when cooler herbs and lighter wood suit the occasion. This is a composition-based suggestion. The illustrated 125mL Eau de Parfum has translucent blue glass and a silver-coloured cap, with raised horses and a shield marked 1743; the transparent glass also reveals the base.
