Safanad
Pear and citrus meet richer white flowers, with sandalwood and vanilla adding smooth warmth.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
Safanad moves from brighter citrus into orange blossom and jasmine, then surrounds the flowers with wood and vanilla. Created by Fabrice Pellegrin and introduced in 2013, it places a warm, smooth floral character at its centre. Juicier fruit gives that richer theme a brighter beginning.
Orange, pear and petitgrain open the fragrance, bringing sweetness into contact with a greener, lightly bitter accent. Ylang-ylang, orange blossom and jasmine form the heart before ambrox, vanilla and sandalwood provide the base. Smoother wood and sweetness support the richer flowers, giving the composition a gentler warmth.
Consider it for an evening outfit when fuller flowers and smooth sweetness suit the occasion. This suggestion follows its composition. The illustrated 75mL Eau de Parfum shows amber-coloured liquid through clear glass, with a gold-coloured cap, black tassels and raised decoration on the front.
