The Quiet Between
A green scent centred on tomato leaf and galbanum, linking crushed-leaf freshness to rose, jasmine, rhubarb and musk.
The top notes, galbanum, spearmint and petitgrain, are green and largely unsweetened. Galbanum is described as steam-distilled from hand-harvested sap of Middle Eastern Ferula plants, giving a sharp green edge backed by resinous, balsamic depth. Spearmint adds coolness, and petitgrain brings the slightly bitter tone of leaves and twigs.
Tomato leaf sits at the heart. PAÑPURI says its crushed, just-picked character was captured through headspace technology from plants grown under the Mediterranean sun. That stem-and-leaf sharpness is softened by rose and jasmine, which round out the green without turning it sweet.
Rhubarb, musk and anise form the base. Rhubarb's tart, green-fruited tone continues the leafy thread, musk holds the composition close to the skin, and anise leaves a fine line of spice. Rhubarb and musk carry the green and softly rounded character into the finish.
The title points to a pause between breaths, and the brand pictures renewal stirring gently after rain. It is a water-based, alcohol-free Care Eau de Parfum, meant to sit close rather than announce itself.
